| 1. | What to do if you lose power
Your alarm system comes equipped with a back-up battery with a life of seven (7) AMP hours. After such time has passed, your system will power down - the system will beep to inform you that it is losing power. Simply enter your pass-code and hit the RESET button on your keypad and the continuous beeping will stop. The system will continue to beep until the battery has completely run down. |
|
| 2. | What to do when power is restored
If the power has been off for less than eight (8) hours, the battery should charge itself. If the battery is not recharged, the system will notify you that your battery is low by displaying the message on the keypad and also by a constant low beeping. If the power has been off for more than eight (8) hours, your battery may need replacing. If the steps listed above do not correct this problem, please contact our service department to schedule an appointment for battery replacement. |

| 3. | Maintain Current and Accurate Contact Information
It is extremely important for all your contact information to be up to date! Any changes made to your account must be done in writing and signed by you as the account-holder. Please remember to include your address and account number when sending this information. You may either mail it to the address listed on the contact page or you may fax it to our local office at 954-322-0137. |

| 4. | Contact your local municipality regarding an alarm permit
Please contact your municipality as to inquire about their permitting laws. Most cities require you to register your alarm system in order for proper police response. If your city or county requires you to do so and you do not acquire an alarm permit, the police will not respond to an alarm at your home. This information may be gathered from your local police. You may also contact our office and we will be happy to provide further assistance. |
